Apologies to the Maxies and Lipstick Homicide for missing their sets.

I heard the Maxies had a dude wearing a polar bear suit. damn. sorry.
I usually am home during the week. But once in awhile you go out on the town on a school night and turn it up. This was that night.  Friday I was in a coma. -  Hung. O. Ver.   Worth it?  Of course. Do it again next Thursday?  Not a chance.

Light Experimentation

Been shooting like crazy.  So my buddy Paul and I decided to break out the flashes, grab a red bull and cruise around downtown.  Here's some shots from that late afternoon.

fun with flashes

next time maybe put the subject directly under the lamp with no flashes. Oh well.
smoking is bad.  yet we continue to indulge. =(

newer parking structure in downtown riverside.  never been to the top of this one.
good view all around. First shot I took of the day.  Great how well he stands out from background.
And interesting how sometimes your first shot of the day is one of the best. Any photographers agree?

We'll bring out 4 flashes next time. we'll see. thanks for looking.

here's a panorama from the droid x looking due north.
Cheers.

Ed and Rebekah at Fairmount Park

I got these twos wedding at the end of February.  Here's a couple from the shoot this last weekend. Oh and thanks to Bob Moon for letting me borrow the 50mm.  Great lens.  Perfect for portrait/couple shoot.

Total Photoshop but whateva.

Original ideas were a vignette style/diptych. Here's the diptych idea. Maybe i'll add vignette later.

Never go wrong with reflections.

Good people. Great meeting them before the wedding.  Looking forward to the "big" event.

The Sleeping Sea King and Randoms

My computer took a dump a few months back.  Instead of fixing it,  I bought another one.  Long story short, I just put the hard drive from the old one into the new one. (Thanks Kenny)  And I found some winners inside.
Here's a couple from the show  Feb. 27 2010. Please click on all Photos for bigger view.

Here's some joshing around with Photoshop from Haiti benefit at Mario's Place. I love the look of all the instruments on the floor in the background. Click on pic.
Here's a couple from Feb. 4, 2010.
Frank Turner- professional mind blower. Great lyricist. Great performer.  Definitely #1 show of 2010
Flatwheeler! My boy Ray, who's come along way from when he started "really" playing guitar. This dude is the jam. Musically and personally.  Miss this motha.
 AND...
The sea king boys and I did a photo shoot with some printed head shots.  Good times. Wish I had more daylight with it.  But here's a teaser, needs more work.  I'm gonna photoshop up some more ideas and hopefully come up with a final choice.
AND the winner is??????????????
what I freakin love about this pic, is not just the final jeopardy question being answered but Mr. Morales who is the lovely gentleman drinking the Miller Lite in the print.  Is also the same dude holding another Miller Lite in this photo!!! Freakin awesome!  Thank you sir, you are a gentleman and a professional. It just makes it so real. ha. (The Sleeping Sea King = Dave Fuller project guinea pigs, so thanks again) Always a good times with these lads.
 Beautiful wifey.
Maggie- we need a middle name for this piece of fur.  Any suggestions?
